With the CalDAV Synchroniser, you can synchronise data from the address book and calendar between EGroupware and common Outlook versions. Supported Outlook versions are 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010 and 2007.
Synchronisation of appointments and contacts
The CalDAV synchroniser makes it easier for EGropware users to integrate Outlook and synchronise appointments, contacts and tasks. This also gives you access to your appointment calendar and contacts stored in EGroupware in your Outlook.
Purchase version and professional troubleshooting
From 2019, the EGroupware team will offer a professional and for EGroupware “supported” purchase version of the Outlook CalDAV Synchroniser for Outlook. In contrast to the freely available version, the purchase version ensures that regular tests are carried out by the EGroupware team with EGrouware and reported errors are rectified as quickly as possible.
Additional functionalities for the purchase version
From summer 2019, further additional functionalities are planned for the purchase version. The following features are currently under development:
- Managed attachments
- Automatic connection/creation of all profiles and folders in Outlook (e.g. for group address books or additional calendars)

Collaboration with CalDAV Synchronizer
The Outlook CalDav Synchronizer is Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS). The source code is available on Github.
In 2019, EGroupware GmbH started the cooperation with Generalize-IT Solutions (Mr. Alexander Nimmervoll) in the context of CalConnect and offers the synchronisation for all users.
From CalDAV Synchronizer version 3.5.0 onwards, EGrouware can be added directly to the profile. In addition, as of this version, bugs were fixed that had led to problems when synchronising with EGroupware. We therefore recommend EGroupware users at least version 3.5.0.
